Drug consumption among students is increasing at an alarming rate and the newer forms of drugs reach students It is important to find the ways and forms in which drug reaches students. Drug mafia trap students at the school premises and abuse them. Unfortunately the several awareness campaigns and deaddiction programmes run by the government, school authorities, and NGOs do not reach the target audience. Their anti-drug effort, energy and resources, in anti-drug campaign activities is yet to reach the desired outcome.

Technology solution to report drug usage or deals and create awareness

A technology solution to report consumption and dealing of drugs near campuses by keeping the anonymity of the reporting person.

Address the issue of rare chances of a technology solution being used just to report drug consumption. There should be some engaging contents or rewards or recognition, encouraging the user to adopt the solution.

A Solution which can communicate all relevant information including important such Contact details ,Department details whichever you feel relevant.

This should be interactive in such a way that enables discussion/queries related to drug abuse, keeping the identity of the participants of the discussion anonymous.

Facilitate sharing interesting contents in social media.

Rating or honoring by giving badge to those who are posting relevant contents at frequent intervals against drug usage.

Engage NGOs / institutions so that they can run campaign, competitions against drug usage.

A platform for identifying the behavioral changes after the consumption through emotion recognition.

One or a combination of the above mentioned points or any other technological solutions which can be effectively deployed to address the issue of drug abuse.

This is 50 hours continuous in-person competition to get the best solutions for the problem statements circulated.

Proposed solution must address the major issues mentioned in the problem statement document.Winners will be selected on the basis of how the solutions help to address the issues and implementation easiness.

This is not just a competition. Seeking solutions which can be implemented by district panchayath and hence participants must be willing to work on solutions after the hackathon.

Prototype is mandatory to present Solutions before the jury.
